By the way, 0.66 a mile at 1900 miles a week x 52 weeks is right at 65k a year. If you're grossing 80k, you're making an additional 15k a year in accessory pay?
We get $26 an hour for drop and hook pay and extra drop pay as well as delay pay if you actually get it( we are rarely delayed). I average about 10 hours paid time a week and yes I occasionally pick up some Saturday work.
65k to 85k. You shouldnt be making less than 62k.. and otr you generally wont make more than 85k especially for only 1 year exp. Your welcome
Oh man where are all these high paying jobs. I don't even average $1k net per week. I need to jump ship ASAP.
Plenty around you just gotta research companies. Definately look into tankers or flatbed if you wanna run otr.. if you wanna make over 85k look into linehaul however its gonna be all nights same roads. Where otr is more freedom. More dayshift. Run flatbed if you dont wanna run nights. Tankers make a little morw than flatbed. Also look into smaller companies generally better dispatchers miles and pay.
