Flatbed trailer re-arching

    Who around Birmingham alabama does this and whats the typical cost for an all aluminum flatbed. Thanks in advance

    I don’t know about aluminum, but I’ve re-arched a steel beam trailer.

    Flip the trailer over, get a piece of 3/8” thick flat bar, and weld it on the whole length of the main beam bottom flange. The heat of the weld will draw the beams and make a arch. I learned this from a old man that used to build custom heavy haul trailers.

    This is exactly how I learned to arch a home made trailer I built several years ago. It works really good for a trailer about 30 feet long... I'm sure it would work same way for a fullsize flatbed.
