    Then it's no perdiem.

If the company wants to take perdiem for feeding me, then pay me 45 dollars a day cash. They can go claim it back. I refuse to be muled into benefiting a third party as a tax dependant.

I don't really understand where you're coming from.... It's $441 a week tax free ... If you want to be able to claim a per diem ...you can buy your own truck and get it

Per diem is 60 some dollars a day, if a company wants to claim per diem, they pay me 45 dollars cash daily and keep the other 20 some odd dollars for thier trouble each day.

Otherwise I might just go buy a truck and keep it all myself. It wont be the first time.

Old post but...cant help but reply...you said they get miles.so you take low pay...idk about you but I'd rather get paid more and drive less..the low pay high miles is a scam big companies use to manipulate new drivers..

I actually went to talk to them because they wanted to hire me back, but they wouldn't exactly tell me what I'd make a mile. I still miss them at times!

Screenshot_20181202-181509.jpg All mega carriers is a big scam! I finally got lucky and found a carrier that pays top dollar. 3000+ miles a week. 0.55cpm

Low? That's take-home pay brother. SRT is what it is but when a better opportunity came along I had to jump on it.

Yes that is low, but not bad at all. I'm at the point now where I'm coasting until summer.

Who do you know that's paying more then 0.55cpm all practical miles. But I feel ya about what you say coasting till this summer. This is a smaller company I work for 60 trucks at the most no micromanagement just good miles and they're consistent. It would be extremely hard for me to choose or go back to work for a mega carrier.
