I don’t have any extra lights but I do have stainless rear doors and I like to keep my equipment clean.

It’s just not feasible for me to have a lot of lights, I don’t like worrying about the ones I do have going out. I definitely understand it though and if I had a nice long hood 1 truck 1 trailer operation and drove myself I could see it. Right now I focus on having new as possible stuff that is efficient and maintenance free as possible.

I recently replaced all the lights on my truck and I counted 72 lights. My truck isn’t even covered in them.

Next year I’m thinking about repainting the truck, tanks, and air cleaners and removing all lights but ones that are required. More of a clean look. I currently have 22 lights just in my breathers, let alone ones on bottom of the cab and sleeper.

Some people say that an abundance of lights on a truck is compensating for some kind of shortcoming.

That would be my shortcoming to use my brain wisely and not overload the battery while parked....
