This last load paid $500 just to tarp it. And it took two hours to do. When someone asks about the best roller dog you can chime in. Clearly you don’t know what you’re talking about here.

Denial big bucks supertrucker brigade, a slip on an icy trailer away from destitution, attacked me right away with personal insults in lieu of arguments. BS aside you better bring up some math to the aspiring souls showing that extra work and risk of flatbedding makes sense. If you do some specialized cherry picking crap and darn proud of yourself step back, let run of the mill, freight of all kinds company flatbed drivers to share their stories of stratospheric incomes that made all that extra work and risk worthwhile.

Well you gotta watch where you put your feet. I thought that would be a given. I have never fallen off a trailer, and if you think you might look for a way to solve the problem. Don’t have a defeatist attitude unless you want to be defeated.

Sticking your head up your arse to feel better about your choices is truly defeatist attitude. I wonder if any of the thread cheer brigade wrote about that a flatbed trailer does not look like much but even many years into your flatbed driving you'll be descovering new possibilities for hurting yourself. You got lucky, I got lucky but many didn't get lucky. Companies treat injured on a job drivers as disposed garbage. So math is absolute must. Here is extra income if any and here is a long list of extra possibilities for screwing yourself. You pick. Gung-ho "real men" do this or that crap attitude is for suckers.

give me the numbers so I could laugh at the added value of all that dangerous stuff you do. Don't take it personal. I do it as public service to the unsuspecting souls that have heard about the big bucks waiting for them. The cheer brigade is very one sided if not delusional. Nope, no way, crap will never happen to you and in an unlikely case it will an extra $1000/year (I'll be generous here) will make it alright.

You have no idea what you’re talking about and you’ve proved it.
