Training is done. Took 4 weeks but wasn't bad at all. I'll start my night shift Friday it sounds like. Ready to make some money and get back to my routine. I was working nights before taking this job.

For some reason KAG is the best in the area where I’m at. There is probably one other that is better bc they are union. In California, they were pretty much at the bottom. Everyone else had the polished tanks and paid great. KAG was running the crap. Up here in WA it’s the opposite. Most of the outfits around here are pretty rough. I guess it depends on the area.

Yea all the fuel company’s raised the pay because couldn’t find enough drivers . KAG went from 26 top to 30.50 . I went from 23 to 29 then 30.50 in like 2 months that’s when I hit my 3 years

I'm still thinking of whether or not to make the move two hours away up to Santa Rosa NM for the fuel job up there. $20/hr, +OT after 40 with a 60 hour week. There may be some raises involved and such. But apart from the move to eliminate/ease commuting woes, I'm still wondering about getting used to a set schedule again, vs. "showing up whenever" on my scheduled days at the shuttling job I'm currently doing.

Creature of the habit, but then there's consistent work, plus $3900/mo free to come in whenever vs. $5000/mo for the punctuality.

First night on my own and it took 45 minutes to load at the fuel rack because I was so nervous. I kept thinking you push that button you buy it lol.
