I totally expected the Wyse posts to disappear. That was a blatant violation of the rules.
Gene is a pretty standup guy, and I suspect he wasn’t the one that created the account.
Wyse carts still rock. I abuse mine daily.

We currently have a Penske sub unit with a 13 speed. Other than the guy that had the breakdown, I’m pretty sure that nobody else that has driven it has a clue.

‘That truck has an 8 speed’

Just heard McLane in Longmont, Colorado is slow. Not hiring as of now. Seems kinda odd. Thought they were desperately needing drivers.

Winter has been a little rough on our Hinos we ended up with a Freightliner as a loaner that was meant for another company, but it was too tall for wherever it was supposed to go. So while they missed out on it, we got to enjoy the hell out of it with its fancy dual zone reefer, movable wall with a doggie door in it, backup camera, collision detection and lane departure warning system. It has a Cummins ISB(240 hp, which is better than the normal 200hp ISBs that Penske specs their trucks with) and a 20' box. I like the fact that it can get out of its own way, but all of the lane departure and collision detection stuff is distracting.
Week before last we lost 20% of our drivers. And of the two drivers that left they are only replacing one of them. Here's to hoping spring is better.

My routes have been a bit lighter, but warehouse and routing screwups have been keeping my hours steady. I ended up working a decent 54 hours this week, including 16 hours of OT.

My Friday route is getting annoying because they keep changing the stops each week. One week I’m pulling a 48’ trailer with 1100 cases, the next it’s a 28’ with 600 cases. I don’t even care if it’s a huge route, as long as they stop changing it and let me get used to the same customers.
