    So like you're compliant now?

Dude I see the Tejana superstars driving junk through the communist state. The Partridge Family Bus couldn't hold a patch to some of the FLD's running through there.

I been compliant since day one. Been running the DPF aftermarket. But come 2020, it’s No bueno. Btw, come 2020, not even the ones that have been cheating claiming exemption(limited miles) won’t be able to register for there tags(registration).

Why is the aftermarket DPF no Bueno now? Has to be DEF truck?

It is good NOW. I’m in compliant. It was supposed to be compliant until 2023, but this communist democratic state gave to us who complied without the Vaseline.

Seems like it would be worth more to keep and reregester it as "special interest"

“Special interest” would be considered a “Not for Hire”. And I’m sure it would be clearly on the registration card.

True, yet I would think it is worth more to keep that a resale value. Otherwise you probably would have to get a out of state home location to keep it on the road. Yet I hear you about the Carb manure, glad I left there. Miss the warmth, yet not enough to live there.
