I seen one and it was only seasonal. I helped a package delivery driver years ago. I'd love to work for them. I would find a place to retire from at 26

F23286BA-8EA5-4E69-9607-D60C65626ECF.png Honestly you wont know until you interview what its for. They include the full time, seasonal language in there so its a blanket advertisement. They do the same here. Im not sure how much experience they want but worth a shot. Here its two years.

No, I am out of Abington. I remembered when I was testing the waters for UPSF Linehaul and I specifically remembered them also offering a city driver spot at 24/hr.

I’d hop on that and deal with the step progression if I could get some light in the tunnel of being hired permanent.

Timing is key. Ive posted my scenario a few times. Don't let seasonal scare you. Its a foot in the door if you can hang through the rough spots.

So far I've been able to manage finances and work 3 days a week and be ok. Things are supposed to be picking up soon just guessing on all the sign up sheets for extra work. Plus just noticed the online ad has been reposted for my area.

Im not sure how freight operates other than what i read on here and try to point those interested in either direction. Cant go wrong with either.

I appreciate the advice, it's hard have a young family in a single income home. I basically need to make the most money possible. My current job I keep getting hurt but I like the job and I'm home every other day. Spend the night in a company paid hotel. I guess they spoiled me

Sometimes you have to plan outside the box. OT after 8 adds up mixed in with the bump in starting rate for parcel. With buffalo looking like its a large terminal wouldn't hurt to try.

Working nights has its perks. We have a 10 yr old at the house and since the gf runs days, i run nights. I have yet to run into an issue with needing daycare but have backups on hand. It saves quite a bit of $$$$. Only drawback would be the wait for insurance, infants/toddlers.
