High performance nothing. I'll drag pegs on my thumper all day. On my 50/50 tires no less.

LOL. I have the need for speed as bad as anybody, I just never warmed up to the crotch rocket style bikes. I didn't say I didn't like to ride them either, I just don't like to ride them far, and I am bad about burning up some highway when I ride.

I haven't ridden a crotch rocket in years until recently when my buddy was getting ready to sell his I took it for a lil ride. I don't know how I did it back then lol. I'll stick to riding the dirt bikes or my road King now. That thing beat the #### out of me after about 40 miles. I guess that means I am officially old....

Na, If you were old, that dirt bike would beat the hell out of you. lol
I do not have a 2 wheeled bike anymore, but a buddy of mine has several dirt bikes and thinks I need to go riding now and then, last time was 70 miles of log road, and I was a whipped pup, by the end of it. I have not been out on a 4 wheeler this year, but last year 40 miles was enough for me.

Crotch rockets are designed for kids that can handle that style of sitting and riding.

Us old folks need the comfort of a cruiser.

Naked sport bikes are a more upright siting position. Check out the FZ09.

That bandit I had was pretty much upright compared to a full blown crotch rocket, I still didn't warmup to it very good. It really was not that much for performance compared to others either, the magna I had would run circles around it.

I have owned several hondas over the years, they are pretty hard to beat for a dependable bike, everything from a 50 cc up. Heck, my favorite 4 wheeler is an old 88 model 350 with the solid front axle, the thing is still a tank.
