I try to drive so that I don't ever actually need to take a 34. I'd rather drive 8 or 9 hours a day, every day, and have extra downtime at the end of the day than drive 10-11 hours a day for 6 or 7 days and then have to take a 34.

Doesn't always work out that way, but that's the goal.

    Lonesome and jarhead0311 Thank this.

Hope you guys don't mind me asking a few questions about Abilene.

    Starting CPM?
    Home time policy?
    APUs? Inverters?
    Forced dispatch?

    Thanks a ton.

    Silverdriver Thanks this.

    Suggestion...
If you find yourself in a bad place ask or tell C. Nycum that when you get your 4 back you would like to move and start your 34 at a better location.

Last I heard about 3 weeks ago....
All new drivers are started at 0.40
Home time. Unless it has changed... For every 6 days you get one day.
No APU. All trucks idle. Some new drivers are even getting new trucks!
    All trucks have inverters.
And you go where they send you.
Please note again.... I don't know if it has changed. :)

    Finfn1372 and Nateman482 Thank this.

Got sent to Dunedin from Jacksonville to get a brokered load at coca cola. Street was marked a different name so accidentally passed it and had to turn around and come back and found the place but truck entrance was one block east on the side street. Sign posted by the docks read as if you were supposed to walk the one block east to check in....so I walked the one block and checked in and then walked the one block back to drive the one block to staging lot....

That bad huh? 1500 appt and now 1520 and still not in dock. Im already flipping out. I like starting my day at 3-4 am so Im parked by 5pm so no parking issues. Might have to go slightly out of route to find parking for the night which means I won't be able to drop this load til wed in the yard at Richmond. Supposed to drop tomorrow afternoon.

I pulled 6 trucks out of there a couple years ago, I needed them back to haul the dedicated freight
