Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Headed to Utah with a load of furniture. Hometime coming up so they getting me out that way for it. Hope this lady has a crew to unload it cuz Im not unloading this myself. Trailer loaded front to back top to bottom full of furniture......

 

Just announced that Dorian is now a Cat 5... looks like it’s projected to possibly take a right turn and run up the coast instead of making landfall in Florida but even if Florida is on the “lessor side” of the storm and avoids a direct landfall, they will still get wind, rain, storm surge, flooding, and power outages.

Power outages, for us, were the worst part of the last storm and luckily we only lost one phase of our power so we had partial power in the house even if we had to run a drop cord from the living room to plug in the fridge but no A/C

Hoping it takes that projected right turn soon and then decreases in strength before getting to Georgia and the Carolinas.

Prayers for all up and down the east coast!!!

 

I’m sitting in Texas heading for Mississippi but the soon to be ex says she’s as prepared as she can be... I’m a bit worried... hoping it takes that right turn sooner than later.

 

I’ll be home in 2 hours. Got a lot of work to do when arrive. Thanks for asking sir.

I’m delivering in Orlando tonight. Came down 75 hardly any traffic. I’m on 441 in town and hardly any traffic. Little breezy and 85 perfect weather. It’s eerie never seen Orlando this quiet
