Yeah your lucky. Me I'm heading right into it. But hey at least I can get the WIIS thread off topic by talking about snow.

Around ‘88 I had a number of electrics. Only an acoustic now. Not able to play really any more. Hands are not so good.

Fender strat, custom shop, USA made.
Black body, rosewood fretboard and all chrome hardware, lace sensors for pick ups. At that time, you couldn’t find anything like it.

Gibson SG. Custom shop order, did it same as strat. Pickups were the 67s

Last one was a Vester. A company most don’t know. They used to make body and neck blanks for Charvel and Jackson.

Long story short. Went to NAMM show, was standing in the Vester booth when a box was delivered. They open it and a flame maple arch top with a Floyd rose locker, full custom inlays and custom case. I looked at it and asked how much they wanted for it right now. $400 was the answer. Handed them cash. Now the rest of the story. Took 8 months to get the guitar. First it was played at the show by mark slaughter, then it went to Europe for shows, then some Asia shows. Finally to end up with me.

    I'm going to WHY-OH-MING.

Then somebody posted a monster load going to Montana later, and the OM grabbed it.

Perhaps I should stop by the house and get my chains.

I'm thinking ya just might want to do that. But hell the OM took the load so maybe just strap the kitties on the wheels cause we all know how good of traction they have :p

Should have had the OM put in on otter. There is going to be wind. There is going to be cold. There could be snow.

Hey! What is this, don’t the nanny bots on this site have some sort of censorship thing when people use nasty four letter words?

Just not in your mouth. That's an awful feeling, and I won't reiterate / re'tell the story. I'm nauseous thinking on it, tbh. :(
