Flying J in Temple GA is a good place. The parking lot is on a hill so you'll sleep at an angle but it's not really steep. THe dryers give you 90 minutes for $1.50 and the showers are nice. People are quick to take care of you and friendly.

Try the Chinese place across the street if you don't feel like doing the restaurant. That ice cream parlor in the strip mall is pretty good too; and it has free wi-fi.

A Flying J is a Flying J. A cookie cutter business like McDonalds or Walmart.
Do yourself a favor and ease on down to Exit 5, Tallapoosa GA and go up to the top of the hill on the south side.
They have an outstanding restaurant with nice folks that have worked there for years.
They also have a repair shop, a truck wash and a chrome shop, just like a real truckstop.

I didn't know there was a truckstop at exit 5. I'll stop in there next time I go through.

It's on top of the hill above the Pilot.
Another good old school place is Lincoln Al Exit 165. The Broiler Room on the south side.
    Sweet waitresses and excellent food.

Been to this one as well forgot the name. The entrance shares its entrance with a dairy queen restaurant. Never delt with the truck stop but the chrome shop has alot in the store so does the CB Shop both are around back no parking for big rigs near these shops will have to walk. The guy in the CB shop is real knowledgeable.
