I recently received my Class A CDLs, with doubles/triples, tanker and I passed the hazmat test at the DMV just haven’t got around to getting my background and fingerprint done. I recently moved to Brentwood/Nashville TN. I was wondering if you guys knew any good starter companies around the area. Prefer UA only because I have been growing my hair for about two years and I’ve been clean from pot for about 7 months. Please spare me with the lectures on drugs and trucks. Im 24 years old I know right from wrong & I have no desire to use again. I’m just trying to progress in life in a positive direction, so any recommendations on companies would be great. Please and thanks guys!

 

pot aint really drugs to me but it is to the feds so we cant smoke it with a cdl, if i didnt have 1 id smoke it everyday like willie nelson, but even then a hair test only gonna go back about 3 months or so.

Lol I agree but I just don’t want to mess up my DAC before I even get into my own truck. I know they say 3 months but I read multiple places that I should wait a year just to be safe so that’s what I’m trying to do.

Schwerman Trucking in Nashville is Teamsters with good healthcare benefits and pension plan. Sometimes they hire a new cdl grad; not common policy, but they do at times. You can run local or coast to coast.

I think Rusty Dog Express in Lebanon does urine test. You'll run California every week.
