While the old-timers here may not need a reminder there are many new OO's that frequent this forum so I thought I would post this information.... All 2290s are due July 1, however you have until August 31, to get the payment into the IRS office.
I don't think they have to be paid or filed till Aug 31. The instruction paper that came with mine says "Form 2290 must be filed by the last day of the month following the first month of use." The period begins in July, so Aug is when I've always sent mine in.
