I just had a J.B. Hunt recruiter offer me 37 cpm staying out 18 days with 3 days home. I have only 6 months experience. Everyone else I've talked to is offering around 30 cpm. So what's the catch? Sounds too good to be true.

Probably means you'll be seeing about 1,900 miles a week at the most.

That's actually pretty common with JB. See a lot of them bobtailing too.

Thanks Lilbit. Just trying to decide who to go with. With only 6 months experience I can't be too picky.

Depends whether it's OTR or regional. Most high paying regional jobs are low miles.

OTR, the possibility of good miles is there.

At 6 months I would be looking at broadening your experience. Maybe try reefer for awhile or even flat bed. When you are at 2 years experience, it's good to have versatility, multiple endorsements and even your TWIC card. Then you can pretty well pick the job you like.
