I just had a J.B. Hunt recruiter offer me 37 cpm staying out 18 days with 3 days home. I have only 6 months experience. Everyone else I've talked to is offering around 30 cpm. So what's the catch? Sounds too good to be true.
Thanks Lilbit. Just trying to decide who to go with. With only 6 months experience I can't be too picky.
More per mile and less miles= Good Deal !!!!! That is what you want, same money for less work.......... But JB !!!!!!! Can you handle their CRAP !!!!!!
Depends whether it's OTR or regional. Most high paying regional jobs are low miles. OTR, the possibility of good miles is there. At 6 months I would be looking at broadening your experience. Maybe try reefer for awhile or even flat bed. When you are at 2 years experience, it's good to have versatility, multiple endorsements and even your TWIC card. Then you can pretty well pick the job you like.
