Is this a good company to work for? I haven’t heard much about them. I am thinking about going thru their dock to driver program. All answers are helpful

Take the opportunity and do it. I still like trucking after almost 30 yrs out here. That bein said I've looked back several times over the years an wished i woulda went to work for a stable union line haul company like that. I've talked to some of their senior drivers before and they were making top notch money with great benefits and retirement programs. JMO.

Yes. My brother works there and loves it. It's a union gig and he has a pension. He is looking at retirement in a few years. However, I'm not sure if new hires are entitled to the same benefits but even so, it's a good place to work.

The sign outside the Carlisle PA terminal says $10,000 sign on bonus paid out in one lump.

Same in Chicago. I wonder how much after taxes and I’m sure if you don’t work a full year you have to pay it back.

Are you going to apply at a big break terminal or a small end of line terminal? Talk to terminal manager to see where you will be seniority wise at the place you decide to apply to.

I’m a Linehaul driver at KC, and love the job. Benefits are the same for new hires at our location.

OP I would go for it. I wanted a line haul job but couldn't get one as a new driver. Once I get my year experience I am making the move. Good money. Home daily. No touch freight. Has to be the best company job in the business.
