I haven't heard horrible things about dart which makes them fairly unique.

    Could be
They advertise for drivers constantly all over the country
So they are either growing faster than any other company or their turnover rate is ridiculous.

Neither actually. I've been running my truck with them for about 5 months now. it's not bad actually. I can't speak for the local gig ( it was an option in my area in GA). just get as much information for the recruiter as possible.
I do national( east of 35) and it works well for me. I wouldn't lease one of their trucks, the company drivers seem to not have much to complain about, but there is also some uncertainty. they have had a recent spike in safety #s. they are constantly bringing on drivers but more than half are either sent home or are leased drivers.

The only call position does seem nice, my only concern would be what happens if no one calls out?
