LOL it isn't the deficit We all know who created that, and besides if this goes on all week ? the payroll for the extra cops will be more $$$$$ then what they profit. I say everyone who gets a citation ? Take it to court and make their week a living hell.

So i guess Safety should just take a back seat. To hell with ensuring that both truck and driver are legal to drive. Put yourself in the victims shoes, you would want your attrony to look at the drivers log book, as well as the last inspection of the truck. If your legal on the logs, and the truck is in tip top condtion, what are you worried about.
SAFETY IS JOB ONE. If you don't agree, time for you to hang up the keys.!

If you ever manage a fleet you would see the bigger picture, as a company driver it's quite possible the few inspections you have had were done the correct way.

do you really think the eobr is all about safety.

it has absolutely nothing to do with safety.

driving legal. it don't matter how legal you drive. there's always going to be an excuse as to why you shouldn't be where you were.

drive straight through. your in the wrong for not taking a break. but now that we have to take a break. if you would have taken it sooner or later. that accident would have never happend.

how about if you split your day. work 12 and off duty 12. you'd be in the wrong for not working and stopping EXACTLY and start EXACTLY when the gooberment wants you to.

start your day at 6 a.m. when you could have waited till 8 a.m. the box may make you drive within the alloted hours. and tell you sleep within the alloted hours. but it don't tell you WHEN those alloted hours take place during the day.

that box don't protect you ONE BIT. anything you do. will be held again't you. becuase there will always be something you could have done at a different time.

you all need to stop thinking that box is your savior. cuz it's really not.

    AlexCarHauler Thanks this.
