    I need a truck/trailer for CDL road test tomorrow. Gainesville GA. Anyone help me?

    Umm..... I think you may have waited just a wee bit to late to be asking for help.

    That said I don't know your area but, I have read here that a guy had sucsess by contacting a CDL MILL ( school) in his area and was able to pay for time with their equipment for his road test.

    Just go to truck stop and give a driver a few hundred and there you go. problem solved

    Problem not solved.
    No o/o is going to put his/her truck at risk for a couple hundred. Especially when you consider what his/ her insurance co. might say or do when they find out about it.

    and then the driver might be on a needed break and with a eld he is forced to log it

    It never was, the problem is you can't just lend a truck out, the insurance company itself would have a fit if there was an accident with an unnamed and unqualified driver.

    The truck owner also has to account for the movement of the truck due to Elogs. That time in the truck counts against the owners hours he can work that week.

    I was a heavy hauler in the military.
