I have a juvenile felony and misdemeanor. Will this pop up on a background check held by most companies? And do they hold you accountable for them if it does pop up?

No, juvenile records are sealed once you reach adulthood.

You should be ok. Depends on what the felony is for. They are supposed to be sealed once you become an adult. BUt that unfortunatly isnt always true.

Pull up your own criminal record and see.

If your company requires you to be able to cross the border into Canada, you may be in a bind.

Thanks just don't know if i should bring it up or not. No adult charges and dmv record clean. So i don't know if i should check yes if they ask have you ever been convicted of a felony? because it was juvenile. i dont want to say no and then it pops up, then they think i'm a liar and criminal. We all made dumb choices in life and all deserve another to prove yourself

It's up to you, but I'd just come clean with your recruiter and mention that you have this little faux paux in your past. Ask them if juvenile offenses matter on the application - it shouldn't. Many will just say no, and go from there.
