What metods employers(trucking companies)use for background checks and employment history,i know about Hire right(dac),and tenstreet??any other???Thanks.
Several years ago I was talking to a recruiter with Prime and a couple weeks later I had a letter in mail from Homeland Security stating that a background report had been done by Prime. I don't know if they still do this or not but that is what was my experience. Now on other hand I have had 2 jobs and I have not had Homeland send me anything but I get fingerprinted for hazmat every time up for renewal. Maybe I looked guilty over the phone. Terry
It depends on company to company. Some uses the credit records and run your name and SS# through a criminal records check. Some use your fingerprints to track your records.
