Everything I would say about this company has already been said. For a newbie trying to break into driving maybe ok. For everyone else, I would stay away.

thats one persons opinion, jb dont hire newbies. I hear this garage all the time from drivers that never worked for JB or for a very short time.

that would be Garbage? I did work for them for a short time and is my experience. As I have said in other places the money was not the issue, it was the culture and the people.

Why on earth would you start a post about JB? Did you just quit? There are several posts already about them on here already? Seems to me you are a little disgruntled.

I am also on a Home Depot DCS account in PA. The pay is great. OTR is a different animal and I think is being phased out for more local opportunities. Maybe you should look into the "whole" company before you throw your small rants around.

no, this post came from a question I had to a moderator about another thread and somehow ended up as a thread in itself. Not sure how that happened as I know there are several on JB already. Didn't really want to rehash that company as I've posted my experience with them in other places. JB is what it is and my time with them was not pleasant. I've tried to keep it factual about what happened to me and if you don't care for the truth of what happens to other drivers at a company then too bad for you. This and other threads are here for exactly this. I believe in other places I've said I met a number of drivers for JB who had been there several years and were happy with them. To each his own. Every company is not for every driver, finding one that suits you and what you want to do is the key and for several thousand, JB suits them.

yes that would be... my keyboard dont like the bbbbbbbb key.... LOL

Ones opinion is good to post, There are alot of drivers who have not had a bad experience as you claim. How short is a short time? thats another factor people have to look at for your opinion to be a valid point. OTR is a different beast and many companies are getting away from that, for the most part. Where you based out of that the culture and the people were bad? I have been to a few terminals and they have been decent, I know there are bad places any company has that.

    snowman01 Thanks this.

I was with them for about 4 months and that was enough. My home terminal was Charlotte with my dispatch out of Atlanta. It was all bad for me and I gave them plenty of time to get it right but ran out of patience. Your right about the otr. IMHO otr for solo's will become a thing of the past with the EOBR. Major companies will devolve into specialized fleets and regional operations and put the coast to coast, except team time sensitive freight, on trains. I've thought this for several years now and still think its coming.
