hi everybody, just wondering if any one has heard or knows anything about Barr Transportation in Auburn ,NY. They are steel hauler for the Nucor Bar mill here in auburn. Ive heard that they are a good company with a very low turnover rate. Just was hoping to get any more info on them. Thanks !
last i knew, they are teamsters, and they haul a lot of thruway doubles. i would imagine that they pay into the pension fund, and that would explain the low turnover rate. i know i have called them about employment, and they will not hire me out of the buffalo area.
ya i remember hearing about them being teamsters, one of the main reasons im interested is because i live right in auburn
well, thats the extent of what i know, besides loading next to them a few times at nucor for lj kennedy. have you called them? have you asked what the pay and benefits are?
