First time this has happened - with a load - and while it may end up being ok, just curious as to what is the procedure for having a truck break down under a load. Get another carrier to finish the trip? Notify the broker and have them get someone? My inclination is to contact another carrier to get this load from Memphis to Dallas, hopefully on time, but as I say, first time this has happened and wondering what SHOULD be done.
No bigge just tell them when its running again, read load sheet to see if there is something in writing you sighed about it.
$50 fine if it's late....didn't say how late. But as it's a transmission issue, could be some time....not a good night! Have a tenant in a condo with water leaking too, so I'm off to have a JD and coke, I think. Thanks...
Yea, me too....needed a laugh. Just will not go into gear - it's an automatic. I'm not the driver, but he said he tried everything....codes came up basically saying nothing, a 25 and an 88 (Eaton, 3rd generation I believe).
And has had no indication that anything was wrong....one repair guy said due to cold weather he's seen some problems lately, so hoping it's simple.
take cable off batteries and it will reset I had the same issues .if its a computer problem it may reset ..if its mechanical it obviously won't.
