830k on my 2015 Volvo. It has never had to be towed, knock on wood. Maintenance has been dead reliable at $1k per month since I've owned the truck. That includes tires.

I'm quite sure I've just jinxed myself.

Joe, your truck experience is really similar to mine. 1.25 mil? Are you on your original engine? That's impressive, either way.

    This year
    Radiator
    Waterpump- I fixed
    Reservoir-I fixed
    Air coupler - I fixed
    Erg cooler .
I probably went 6 months this year with minor or no issues on a 725k truck and than boom 7k in repairs . Repair fund was stacked so no biggie but it's a pain in the arse.

I had to do all of that between 6 and 700k except EGR cooler. Mine is still factory green and looks untouched. Turbo is original too. I'm ready and waiting.

Original but still well over 80k for the very repairs around it in 6 and half years.
Some things replaced twice like turbo, radiator, fan clutch. Not including suspension, tires, brakes and various electrical work etc
No overhaul yet, I don't think I'll ever want one.
I deserve a brand new Globtroter with a big ### sleeper so chicks will dig me....ha ha ha.

From a retrospect, I don't care about check engines and codes. I will not fix it on the road on the account of a check engine light being on...most of those are due to wiring issues or sensors. I refuse to go to stealerships and it goes without saying the likes of TAs and Loves are avoided too...like a half shut down Messerschmitt I always try to limp back to the base at all costs.

Lucky for you you are in a big enough city to have some good Volvo mechanics that aren't dealers. For me there is only one game in town, the Volvo dealer. It has helped me greatly to get to know a few guys there and I get good help and lower rates. I even have a couple of them on speed dial after hours. They are really nice guys if I just need a text answered.

How much is an EGR job on a Volvo D13? I recently learned the fan is going to fail eventually and that sucker is $1800!!! I know a turbo will set me back a few grand.

Bought my truck in April. So far I've replaced:

Radiator and all hoses clamps etc
    Fan Hub
    Front Shocks
    Front tie rods
    Alternator
    Air dryer
    4 new batteries
    Heat actuator

And a partridge in a pear tree....oh all that was on a 2006 Western Star...that fn radiator was not cheap!! But all of that has been done at home by my own mechanic except for the Alternator. Had to have it replaced on the road at the Boss Shop in Corbin Ky.

    Bought a 06 century with 60s 14.0 in 2018 for 11k

Ran good for 1yr, then radiator started leaking, swapped it along with cooler, 1500 parts and labor
2 months ago engine started knocking (bull gear), decided to rebuild (18k)
    New:
    - head
    - inframe
    - cam
    - all pumps
    - air comp
    - bunch of small stuff

then last week just did pads, drums, slacks, chambers, torque arms, single wheel seal & bearings (3k labor and parts)

4K in tires in 2 yrs
