http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRvogZIE4-E&feature=related Something like this a Ecocombi. 25.25 meters. I like this system to create 2 very short trailers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxL-O3J7wwU&feature=related
My friend got US B=double, not so long. Scania - hyundai B-double is about 18 m. B-double lenth is equal to 48' semi, but turning radius is like you drive Mercedes Atego. This kind of b-double is used in the USA like we use combo here, but with US trucktor US b-double has smaller turning radius then EU 20'+20' combo. I found new b-double on hyundai site http://www.translead.com/php/2_pro/2_pro02_05.php
Yes it is 50 tons. Because i don't have many axles. If you take the second trailer out of it, this truck is legal with 60 tons. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVTlpgZxfdg&feature=related
usually axles are locked at higher speed if you mean on steering axle if you mean on light tractor comparing to trailer weight yes i think same but in holland highest hill is 100m so it is not something like here
But in sweden/norway/finland they use those 25.25 combi's to. Mostly in a combination of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yieJp1RzyNE&feature=related
The highest hill is 322 meters and a big part Holland is below sea level. So whe don't have realy big amounts of horse power, to climb some hills here. But the most freigth comes in Rotterdam and than spreaded out over germany. And a lot of flowers. But 1 company here has tuned up a scania to 1000 hp just for fun.
sorry i forget denmark is 100 -150m something like this here we have 1900m max but in bosnia there are higher hills and lot of them but all of them are steep and short ( longest incline is maybe 10km) but why dutch people buys so many v8 scanias ( i think that there is no nation on world so crazy about v8 as dutch people ) there is many v8 in australia but they really need this and also in italy but, but i would not like to count this as truck( they ruin every truck with some tasteless chrome and inox equipment) is that only for image or ??????????
Alot of drivers goes trought hole europe, so from norway to spain those country's have big hill/mountins and, a little bit for show off. But there is also a lot of DAF/Volvo, but what i have heart from trucker from outside of Holland dutch truckers have always there truck in good conditions. With a own style from the trucker. And in most countries is to be a trucker a job, but here it's a lifestyle.
