    there is one more r500 in norway but bad build only straight sheet metal so no details....

    it is ugliest longline ever build black with blue details i will put image when i find it on pc

    some of mercedes factory testings i had more of them on my PC lot of off road driving more ABS testings in 1970´s and bdf trucks

    really idea is good. It is 6x6 truck. normally second axe drives(6x2), first and rear axels are steer axels for better maneurability and less tire wear. They used sufiticated t-case differentials for 6x6 mode. But really it was the expencive toy (two engines, one master, one slave, automatic transmissin, auxially heaters and many other expencive stuff), so this truck is rare.

    This version was made for oil field expeditions for use on highway and off road. It is amazing, but this is civil truck

    does anyone know if man still put v12 (if yes probably now d2862?) in trucks

    during tga serie thy used to put by special request v12 with 1000hp and renk automatic getribe

    some of earlier trucks have this engine also ( from 792 .....)

    D2862 is the one designed togeather with Liebherr.
    is used in forage harvesters,gensets,industrial and marine aplications,not in trucks
    D2842 is the one designed with Daimler was used in airport firefight vechicles and in M.A.N 40.700 heavy transport trucks

    i know this part but i could not find any data are they still used in trucks

    i have brochure from 2008-9 or something where man tga41 660 was detailed presented and they write that there is v12 with 1000hp if you need it


    i think that this xx700 use d2542

    d25-d28 the same family of engines
    tga41660 was using d2840 v10 common rail engine
