CAN’T WAIT!!!

After 18 years of grinding my wife and best friend is FINALLY going to be able to team up with me. Been planning this for at least 15 years. Both kids are now grown and I’m putting her through the same private school I went through 18 years ago. She’s going to have the opportunity that most drivers have to work years to get. Really good money plus weekly if not daily home time and on a dedicated run, right out the gate. O/o money between the two of us even after taxes, plus insurance and paid vacation. Clearing $2500 weekly on this run I’m on is nothing to sneeze about. I quit training several years ago after the last guy scared tf outta me. I said back then no more training until she comes along and she’ be my last. Gotta say it’s about GD time .

 

2 good things about this school? The students are actually trained on manual transmissions, by former old school drivers (I’ll have her floating in a week) and it’s FedEx approved.

yes and no. Being that she’s my and I am her best friends. 2’s company and 3 would lead to me getting my azzz kicked

Update⭐️⭐️ Her first week wrapping up. Killed it without killing us or anyone else . Picked up this 13 speed quick af. And rock steady smooth hands on the wheel pulling these doubles. I set my ### in the passenger seat off duty keeping my eye on her from Nashville to Little Rock and then log a couple hours of official training time from there to Texarkana where she logs out of her 7 1/2 half of the day and I run us back. A 6-7 hour nap and get up and do it again. Seriously the first time I’ve ever been excited to put in 17-19 hour days. Married myself an actual trucker 21 years ago that’s just now starting. She literally told the school “screw an automatic. I’m snatching gears and my husband is adding 3 more and a 2nd trailer”
