Canadian Requirements

    As a lease operator I’ve crossed the border plenty of times. The freight going to the border was about a day and a half ride. Now that I’ve gotten my own authority I would like to continue. I’ve done a good amount of research. CBSA Code, Oversized permit, & ACI manifest but I am still confused on the bond process. In great detail could someone explain running across border with your own authority. Appreciate it greatly.

    Start out by obtaining your CVOR from Ontario and getting your authority recognized in another country.
