Any reviews on this company. They offered me a dedicated account hauling windows pay seems good .70cpm 55 a night to sleep in truck and 50 per stop home on weekends. I just can’t find much info from drivers who have driven here.
@Bumper works there, but I don’t think on that account. Here’s his experiences: Bumper is chilling at…….Cardinal Logistics.
Tailgating the whole load right? Multi stop loads with how many total miles? If you're in good enough health to do that kind of work God Bless you. Nothing wrong with working for a living. Where do you live and what are they projecting as your Gross Pay?
Just know this- you are a piece of meat. Nothing more. if you can live with that then go for it. If you can't then you have your answer. 100%.
it’s a brand new account that don’t even start till August 1st. they won’t tell me if it’s tail-gate or not but they say it’s projected at 87k a year. They don’t even have trucks for this account yet it’s all Ryder Trucks. He said he thinks it’s one stop per trailer but he doesn’t know. im in NC so pay in the southeast ain’t as good as other areas why this job seemed alright but I’m not sure if their projected salary is a made up number or accurate.
You should look up there add on Craigslist Lakeland FL. They've recently started advertising a similar job that I think is windows and doors. The add seemed to be pretty detailed. They may have acquired an account that may have multiple plants.
I work for Cardinal on their Ohio Valley Aluminum Company account out of Shelbyville Kentucky. However I live in Kingsport Tennessee. I haul aluminum ingots from Shelbyville to numerous aluminum extruding companies in the Mid West. I go pretty much to Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Tennessee and Northern Mississippi. We have both day cab local guys and those of us in sleeper trucks that are considered OTR. We are at 62cpm and as an out of the area driver I get 66 dollars a day for food for every day I am away from home. The local guys do not get this. Because it is 260 miles home I generally go out for 6 days, do a 34 in a hotel, go back out for 6 and then home for 5 days. I take the logs, what we call ingots, out and bring a load of scrap aluminum back. Our trucks, their trailers. Most of which are not too great but they do try and do repairs we ask for in a timely manner. All of our trucks are Ryder Leases. Mostly Navistar LTs. Each account is run differently and has different payscales. We all have Cigna Health insurance coverage after 30 days if I remember correctly. We have a really good Operations Manager. Best I have ever worked for anywhere. How the others are, I cant say. I dont have very many complaints, but OTOH, I am retiring in December. Good Luck to you if you decide to take the job. Also this is my second time with Cardinal. I worked on a Walmart Produce Account in Riverside California back in 2008 and 2009. Also a good account and I left only because I moved to Arizona.
