Anyone ever work for a co. called Carry Transit or know someone who worked there in the past. I know that they are owned by Superior Carriers which from what I have read on these boards is a good outfit to work for but I would really like to know more about Carry. The terminal I am looking at is in Dayton, OH. if that makes a difference. I think the main reason I am looking so hard at them is the fact is a driver only pays 35.00 dollars a week for family health ins. and that also includes family dental as well. That is one of the main things I will use to make my decision as to which co. I go to work for. Thanks for any and all help.

Well guys I apologize for not doing my homework and hitting the search button for Carry before I made this post. I only found one negative post on there about them and a lot of good posts. If anyone has anymore info I would really appreciate it.

I did put in my app. this past week for them. I called the T.M. the following morning to notify him and he told me not to worry he had already gone into there computer system and "claimed me". Whatever that means. He told me to call him back this coming Tues. morning and sign a waiver for my former jobs. Wish me luck, I sure hope I am making the right decision.

You've been driving 14 yrs..Is that all with YRC? I ask because I'm surprised with only 14 yrs your not laid off. I understand you need at least 15-20 to still be working.

Carry Transit .. is the Food Grade division of Superior Carriers
Carry primarily hauls : corn syrup , juice , and some pneumatic .. Flour etc

Superior hauls all the hazmat stuff
