Guys need some feedback how is this enginr in terms of reliability running it from nj to indiana and back how would it do hauling dry van 80k across interstate 80 in pa? I know it's a 12l but volvo ved12 is also 12.1 anyone know how it compares
C12s are great engines, good power , decent on fuel and can last a long life. If it has a 13 speed mated to it then its better.
It’s a good little engine that can be tuned to pull very well mine was 465hp at the wheels . But unfortunately the engine brakes are mostly noise . Rocker arms are a weak point on them we did yearly valve adjustments to inspect them because often if they broke it bent a valve or worse yet dropped it requiring a rebuild .
