you either just pick out a name for yourself, or if you screw up and do something stupid, THERE WILL BE someone watching you and HE WILL NAME YOU, and IT'LL STICK..

names are numerous with just as many repeats of the same names.

think of things YOU like, for instance maybe a hobby, or your favorite food, or maybe a movie character.

you can even maybe just use your nickname if you have one, or use a mix of your first and middle name.

unless your first name is Toby, and your middle name is Matthew, you don't wanna be known as Tobhew.....

    oh...there won't be NO list...just a "blurt out" and YOU'RE NAMED...!!!....lol

i once had a co-worker, he was new to the job at the time. we had to go to Richmond, VA, and he had to follow me. we stopped at the Petro in Bordentown, NJ...for some food.

when we finished eating, i said to him, "you ready to go hot shot"..??

he said, "is that my name, hot shot"?

by golly, he had his name, without any thought from me at the time......lol

    Doesn’t work like that usually.

Knew a guy that got lost down a two lane and decided to make a u turn in some farmer’s field. Everyone called him Cornfield. Knew a guy that had 1 tooth in his head. Everyone called him Chopper. Knew a guy who, every time, every day would eat burgers. Everyone called him Cheeseburger. Knew a guy that liked to bake cakes, pies and cookies. Everyone called him Baker...even his wife. Knew a guy that got caught running 107 mph in a semi. Everyone called him 107. Knew a really short guy with a square head and red hair. We all called him Lucky as in Lucky the Leprechaun.
Knew a guy that looked like a catfish...guess what they called him?

Some guys go by their nickname. Some go by their military rank. Like Gunny or Sarge. If they are bikers, they go by their road names. Me, when I first started pulling flatbed, my company had just bought a bunch of new trucks and their flatbed trucks were numbered from 601 to 699. Guess which truck I got?

If you want to do your own handle, change your user name on here, and put the new name on the driver’s side door of your rig under the window. It will help you stand out from the crowd and make a name for yourself. It will be the most important name on your truck. Doesn’t matter who owns the truck...that driver’s handle is the most important. Now, if you decide to stand out from the crowd, bring that A Game every time you play. Do the best job that you can possibly do. Be courteous. A good name is the most valuable thing that you can possess in life and it follows you even after life is over.

    Luck in battle.

How did you get your name here. Same answer, you pick one your self.
Since I chose to be on the positive. Loves the drive (the rest of it is hates the finding)

    if you like cold weather...iceman

    if you like hot weather...heater

    if you like hunting.....deer killer/rabbit killer/possum killer....etc...etc

if you like shooting pool....stickman...or blackball..

if you play poker....cardman...ACE, kingsman, royal flush....etc...etc..

    if you like fishing...hookman

if you like surfing the waves......beachman.

    etc...etc...etc...

then stick to the name you choose, as others that know you will call out for you on the road, especially if you drive for a company that the drivers actually get along with...lol

I was always under the impression you aren't allowed to pick your own, it's a right of passage and must be given to you.

My trainer asked me if I had one or thought of one, told him it was his to give, I had yet to be dubbed, but if he was giving me the choice, in going with my call sign from my when I served. I'm Razor Wire.
