hey i am in CDL school in Illinois and I am half way through i have my clp and medical card but all the miles I am putting on my pickup 600 a week to get to school has killed my truck and I cant pay or rent a car to get there anymore ? does anyone have any ideas? Swift won't ship me out of state to one of there academy they said they cant in Illinois? should I look for a new trucking company in Illinois to finish and get my CDL ? anyone got a idea ? thanks mm
So you are commuting from home? Why wouldn’t they provide you with a hotel room? I know sometimes if you live within xx miles of the school you don’t get a room, but they still should be able to offer you a room on your dime but at a discounted rate or something.
FFE (Frozen Food Express) school in Chicago. (hair follicle drug test) Stevens Transport - school in several states including Michigan. (urine drug test) Illinois is a big problem for trucking company schools because they don't recognize the cdl you earn from some out of state schools. Maverick Transportation has the same problem; the can't recruit students in Illinois for their cdl school in Arkansas. Another idea is, use a friend or relatives address in another state. Change your drivers license to their address, then apply anywhere you want and you'll be ok.
then Illinois will give cdl to Russians that don't speak English ..... the ones that are illegal or on a student visa or on a expired visa can get them for some extra $ all a crock of crap
