CDL Permit

my question is how long can u hold a permit without driving and u wont start school till April

 

Depends on the state. What do they say? My permit was good for 6 months.

 

not sure just studying was thinking bout next month goin down and getting my permit I live in wisconsin

 

Yep, should be good for six months whether you drive on it or not.

 

yup I just looked it up lol but I cant wait to get trucking this yr me and the wife heading out to CFI hopefully by april

 

And unless things have changed in the last few years, renewing your permit is as easy as walking into the dmv and paying the fee and you got another six months. Idk how many times you can renew though.

 

Yep! It is. In SC you can renew it once and then you have to take the test.
