You cannot obtain a CDL out of the state you reside in. Therefore I don't believe that you would be allowed to attend school out of state, unless you could show proof of residency by the end of the schooling when testing comes around.

I do not know for sure, this is just what would make sense to me. Anyone else?

I think that you would have to show the New Hampshire dmv your paper work from the out of state test from the school. You may have to take the test for New Hampshire.

you can go to any school you want to, and when you are ready for your state DMV road and skills test, the school should provide the truck for you, to take the test in your home state. an instructor would of course go with you. now, if you were to say MOVE to another state, you would need to obtain THAT state's CDL.......but if you are still a legal resident of NH, then this is where you would take the DMV tests.

you MUST ask the school you wish to attend, if they do take students from your state and then provide the truck for the DMV test on that day for you, at your HOME state DMV.

Im in that situation now. I live in Nevada and Im going to school in Arizona. To get my permit I had to have an Arizona license. So school sent me to DMV. I turned in my Nevada license and got an Arizona license, using the address of the school for my residence. Once I complete school, and get my CDL, I will return home and go to DMV and surrender Arizona license and get a Nevada license. The only test I have to retake is the hazmat endorsement test (20 questions). Hope this helps.

When I went to school you got the CDL in that state using the motel address you stayed in. Then when you return to your state you transfer it over doing the written test again.
