Is there a differance depending on what state you live in? I know of a few good schools in NY, but will be moving to texas.

The tests are different I know Ok. and Tx were different, but the requirements a federal. The Texas driving test was a cake walk hardest part was parallel parking a rig ! It's doable and pretty easy the way they have you do it. you know when you change your state of residence you have to replace your license.

Will Texas let you transfer a NY CDL? Some states make you re-test when you change residency no matter how long you have been driving. CDL tests vary between states. NH has much more involved skills and inspection portions than neighboring VT, for example.
