I am planning on going with stevens trasportation here in about 3 weeks. I got a pre hire from a couple companies and Stevens is the best fit for me. I know they offer company paid training if you sign a contract for a year or something like that. I was wondering if I can still go through there training at there training center if I pay for it myself? If I can would anyone know how much that would cost? I really dont want to sign a contract and cant find anything about how much it would cost if I payed myself or if they even do that....

Ask a recruiter....they should be able to tell you if they will even consider it. I would think that they won't let you do that. But you never know

    That sounds a bit confuddled.

Normally you pay a school, then you get paid "training pay" bya company once you have your CDL.

If you have the cash to pay for schooling, then go to a good school and get paid for your real world experience after...
