Oh boy my first flamer. Insulting as it my sound your reply was just plain ridiculous to anyone that's sat behind the wheel. As a 28 yr driver I'd be embarrassed or your just inexperienced I don't know which. Of course you've driven trucks I've never heard of in places I've only had nightmares about. Ease up on the attitude Big Strapper and you'll get respect.

I agree but I don't if that makes any since.Yes many questions and posts are off the wall and those coming from veteran drivers, they sohuld'nt even be driving. But then many questions coming from new drivers, that's quite understandable

I do ride a hayabusa. Ill coast down hills on my way to work (4am) and cut the bike off if I'm low on gas. If I saw a deer or coyote infront of me I feel sorry for it lol I don't plan on swerving with the big chrome bumper on this thing. And I'm never near 80k. I drive a side loader lol:biggrin_25518:

lets lay off the OP here.... at least he came on and asked if what he was doing was right... how are we suppose to learn if we can't ask.. Geesh, some of the responses make you never want to log back on the site...

I will agree to disagree with you on this post...You drive your truck the way you do and i will drive mine the way i do...What has worked for me in my 3 Million Safe Miles, may not work for the next...But rest assured,I am one of the best and MY WAY WORKS WONDERFUL...:biggrin_255:

The COLD FACT is this.Even if drivers are 100% Legal and Compliant, they are still wrecking..That is the cold hearted FACTS...So it does not matter if any driver follows a regulation or not...If the ''wreck'' happens,it happens...This is why we call it an accident...

I have seen compliant obiediant drivers slamming trucks in a parking lot for christ sakes...So much for the ''theory'' of safety and regulations...So keep believeing all the B/S sent from some saftey turd who never drove a truck or left his county..I refer to them as ''Arm Chair Truckers''....

There is not ONE SINGLE regulation or School that teached ''common sence''...

I think he's been driving long enough to know right from wrong.Safety first.A person getting tested for his/her cdl,im pretty sure that would be an automatic fail coasting like that don't you?Besides, sounds like he's been doing this awhile so why ask now unless hes just bored an wanted to start a thread.
