Code reader

Hello everyone, i need a good code reader for my 2009 vnm. Can anyone help me find a good one. Not a professional like JPro or Volvo software. Sometimes more simple to read codes, that's it.

I used this, but also you can retrieve codes down the dash. Better option is OTR diagnostic tool since it can do forced regen and bypass limp mode I believe

 

Does it works in old trucks, my truck is a 2009. ?

 

It should. Buy it and try it. Amazon have a good return policy with no questions asked. It worked on my 2016

 

Is that I'm scared bc i bought one of those scanners and when i uset it it blanked the computer, i ended paying over 1k to program the computer again.

 

I use Diesel Decoder on my 2017 Cascadia.
It's a scan code reader. Diesel Laptops sells it.
Another is OTR brand.
