Hey all. Im thinking about going to swift. I have had my cdl since 2008. Never used it. The recruiter said I would come to Columbus for orientation. Take a road test Then go out with a mentor. Again I have not drive a truck since 08. Just wondering what the process is like there and how bad the road test is. Thanks for any real help.

You sure its still a class A license. With the new laws that went into effect over last year or two, if you haven't filed your DOT medical at your States DMV then your license could be downgraded without your knowledge.

If you can shift and not run up any curbs on a typical city route... You have nothing to worry about.
