Hello! I am new to the site.
    I live in Jacksonville N.C.
I am looking for any recommendations a company who has local routes or a bit further out that will accept someone with:
6 Months of Tractor Trailer experience with Werner.
    Hazmat,Tanker, Doubles-Triples Endorsements.
    TWIC card.

I Have currently been working as a FedEx Ground delivery driver for the last 4 years after I left Werner because of family complications.

I want to make use of the Hazmat endorsement I have, but it seems that a lot of companies require one year or more of experience.

Any advice would be helpful, thank you.

Werner was 4 years ago and no trucking sense? These companies these days will either make you do a refresher or a full course again.

Is the FedEx Ground job in a tractor trailer, box truck? You'll also need to put your location in. Maybe @Chinatown has a couple of options for ya

With 6 months experience under your belt....4 years back....many companies will probably view you as a "new" driver.

Also: the overall CDL job market right now pretty much blows chunks....for new(er) drivers.

You may well simply have to take what you can get....just to get some (new) experience.

To make use of that TWIC....you will likely have to pull fuel, or certain chemicals. Those related carriers will likely want 2 years previous experience (or more) -- & a safety record to match (i.e., NO citations/accidents/incidents).

Thus -- your CDL job search may well prove to be tougher than you might first have expected. :(

This one isn't tanker, but I'll throw it out there anyway because the money is good and you have experience. Must live near Rose Hill.
