Conway truck load had some pretty good frieght, always had the ltl and expidited stuff to run, but I can swear that when CFI partnered up with conway, that was the end of that....lots of downtime, slow running freight, as in 4 day appointments for 100 mi runs...just could not bear it. And I do realize that at that time I was kinda new with only about 1 year under my belt, the pay could've been better, at 26cpm I could not live on so I left....
Your in ca and I know a guy who works for fedex freight out there and he said he loved it !!! They only average about 8 stops per day and he makes good money if that is something that you would like to do ..... But be advised that freight has no forgiveness on your body!!!
