Can anyone tell me about a vgt valve on a isx motor were it is exactly and can you tell your self if ones gone bad? My truck is running sometimes like it has a bad indejestion jerking real hard and loses power
Edit for accuracy. If the controller is bad most shops aren't going to check. Don't know why but most will just change the turbo and call it good. Problem is if its in the sensors or pcm then it won't fix the problem. If your shop doesn't know then hopefully they'll send you to a dealer or factory shop if so insist they check it all and not just change the turbo.
83k miles on mine have had the turbo go out and the egr cooler in the same week. A month later the fan clutch went out. All that was in the first 40k nothing wrong since.
