DAC Report

HI All

What types of companies actually posts information to your DAC report? Is it only freight companys? About a year ago I got fired from a Nursing home. I didn't get along with my boss and I said Bulls###. Anyway I was fired. Im having a heck of a time getting hired anyplace.
Would a healthcare company even know anything about DAC?

Many companies outside transport use hire right (dac), so if the company uses them then more than likely it will surface in a background report

 

get a free report and see if its on their

 

When u say a background report are we just talking about the hireright background report or other companys that do reports?

Ive been unemployed here in stlouis mo for 8 months, now. I never went to school but I have a class b license with airbrake, tanker and hazmat. I just filed online to get a copy of my DAC. It takes 15 days to get it. I'll find out for sure then just what is the problem.

 

Well, I called that hireright company that reports to the DAC. The lady was nice enough, she looked up my DAC and told there isn't anything bad to report............

 

Try your absolute darnest to find any kind of a job just to get back into the workforce.
If you have to stuff feathers inside of pillows, then do so. Do something to rebuild your work history.

I myself suffered 2 bouts of unemployment:
A) 11 months (5/9/1992 - 4/12/1993),
B) 7 months (9/17/2006 - 4/16/2007).

Many employers will hold it against you if you are out of work any extended periods of time. I have found this out through the "school of hard knocks".

DAC report is a he said she said item and is worthless in these current years!

 

Many people are still quite petrified of what is in their DAC files.
