Does anyone know how long after you leave a company before your employment shows up on your DAC report?

I think it depends if they submit the information.

not all companies even do that...

They checked my DAC, and said that they do report, so I do not know. I was there for a week, and got "laid off", due to lack of work and a freight slowdown.

I do not know whether to list them or not on applications. I think it would look bad to list a company you only worked at for a week. But on the other hand, if it shows up it may look like I am trying to hide something. What do you folks think?

It will look even worse if you do not list them. Trucking companies are pretty funny about things like that. They want to know everything.. The good the bad and the ugly. Some will get you all the way into orientation and send you home for a mistake on your app that either they missed or you missed or they did not bother to check before they got you there.

If you were layed off and they can verify that, then I wouldn't be embarassed. They can't blame you cause the company that you were at decided to lay you off.
