It is a service you pay for MVR and background stuff. In order to build their database they give you a $2.50 off your bill for each termination report you send in. It uses a form where you check off the choices of the selections offered. Abandonment is the worst thing you can report other than 'personal contact requested'.....

Everyone is entitled to AT LEAST one free DAC/Hire Right report every year. In your state you may be entitled to more than one free report per year. DAC/ Hire Right is covered by the same law as applies to credit reporting bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian). You can get your free report by snail mail or email. However, via email it will still take 15 days after your request.
I told my employer upfront based on experience from the previous trucking company that I came from, that I don’t play games with embellished reports, I don’t play the safety, take away the bonus game, or any of that nonsense. I told him I’m straightforward and I expect them to be the same. They are 0-4 trying to get my bonus. Lol each time they made an error or an oversight and tried to clip me and I nailed them on the spot. That’s when I told him I don’t play this game. They quit messing with me. Gotta be polite, but firm in this industry or you’ll get stepped on. Put something on my DAC report and you #### well better be able to back it up with hard evidence or I’ll get it removed.
Like the credit reporting agencies, they don't remove it, they just put your version below and keep going.....
