Is it possible to locate delivery work driving anything from a van to a non-cdl straight truck that you can get paid in cash while doing so? How would i be able to find work doing this?

Craigslist? Or the like? Call local couriers - maybe they have contractors who might be looking for "relief" drivers

Go buy a pickup or van, put some decals on it with your phone number and services, put an ad online, and go find some work! Or buy a pickup or van, and work for a courier. Gotta have at least a tiny bit of skin in the game.

    Taxi company?

    Edit: Oh ya totally forgot.....

What bakerman said! I can't imagine you're left with more than minimum wage after you consiter your actual long term operating expenses though.

Courier work is some of the most intense peanuts per day.

I spent several days in a tiny two door Colt running deep into DC and Northern Virginia. We were running 450 miles delivering tiny packages and envelopes as fast as we could get it there. I don't think we cleared minimum wage when all was said and done very much certainly not after taxes.

Why is the ability to be paid in cash so important?

No paper trail, i don't like banks, and the work ain't needed for the whole year, just 7-9 months of the year guaranteed year after year
